There are 60 free places for community members living with disability, carers, support people, and disability agencies to complete the Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) Certificate Short Course offered by Collaborating 4 Inclusion / The University of Sydney.

P‑CEP (Person‑Centred Emergency Preparedness) is an evidence‑based program co‑designed with people with disability, disability advocates, and emergency management professionals.

It equips organisations in the disability and community services sector with the knowledge and tools to better align emergency planning with the real support needs of people with disability—reducing risk while strengthening organisational resilience.

By nominating staff to complete the P‑CEP short course, organisations can build internal capability in inclusive emergency planning, support duty‑of‑care and WHS obligations, and demonstrate leadership in preparedness, risk management, and service continuity.

The course is 100% online and self‑paced, making it easy for businesses to support staff participation without disrupting operations. Participants complete six concise modules at times that fit their work schedules, enabling immediate application of learning within their organisation.

Nominate Staff – Submit an Expression of Interest

Organisations are encouraged to nominate suitable staff members and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via the SurveyMonkey link below by Friday, 29 May 2026:
