Exceptionally You provides trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming counselling, EMDR therapy, parent support, professional supervision, and therapeutic gaming services.

Kerrie Johnston is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with extensive experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families. Kerrie has worked in specialist trauma services for many years and has completed training in EMDR therapy and therapeutic gaming. As a neurodivergent clinician, Kerrie brings both professional expertise and lived experience to their work. Exceptionally You offers a compassionate and collaborative approach that recognises people as the experts in their own lives. The focus is not on changing who people are, but on helping them better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and create lives that feel authentic, meaningful, and sustainable.
